Welcome to the Azle HS Band!

One does not have to look far to see great evidence of love, commitment, and enjoyment of instrumental music in the Azle Band. From the football field to the concert stage, to our new awesome trailer, to the wonderful students and parents – band is challenging, rewarding, and fun! As director of bands at AHS, I strive to create a positive and enriching experience for each of our 275 students. This web-site has a wealth of information, and it is updated constantly. Super Band Banquet!

What a super banquet night! It was our largest ever, with almost 400 in attendance. A huge THANKS to Missy Webber, Diane Morrison, June Haptonstall, Gerry Lewis, Gary & Jerry DJ's, Leonard Wheeler, Patti Schuster (you should see the amazingly cool new "MGP stationary" she has created for the band!), our photographers – The Moores, the Booster officers, the band officers, and many others, for making this such a classy and special event. Also a huge THANKS to the band students and their guests for representing Azle with class.

Congratulations to the students who received awards – you are fabulous, and we wish we could recognize you ALL for what you have done to make the MGP "The Pride of Azle"!

One more big "BRAVO" to the senior class of 2008, for sticking together and providing awesome leadership throughout your high school years. The seniors received a really cool group photo of themselves at State, with the Alamodome in the background, courtesy of Patty Schuster's artistic talents, and I believe, Justin Lowe's Alamodome photo.

Seniors, we will take Booster College Scholarship Applications through this Friday. We invite you all to apply.
